Time to get this blog thing going again… sort of like the online diary. 🙂

So… the current project is Fishing with Hillboy. This is well and truely underway…

The concept – taking the viewer fishing, literally. The idea is two fold, build the ultimate trailerable fishing boat and take the view out fishing on it. The second fold is to build the ultimate fishing resource – website.

I have built the frame work for the web-site and put up some initial articles in various categories. These categories / menus will cover 95% of the content which I intend to publish on trailer boat fishing.

The logo… the all important logo. I have had a crack to get the basic design of what I want in Paintbrush and aside from the fact it looks like a 2 year olds drawing – it is done (and on the website).

I have engaged Sarah and Lucy from lulaandbella.com to help me give it that profressional look. And they are good, so I have no doubts the finished product is going to be very sharp (despite my meddling).

I am hoping to have something up in 2-3 weeks.

Now – it is all about building the framework to sell this thing to sponsors. I am still debating on whether this should go through main stream TV or whether it is better to hit the online route. Maybe I should be doing both… which is an approach I do have the structure in place for already. Episodes on TV with additional supporting content on the web.

For example – doing a reno on the boat. Present the basics on the program – more detailed content online, that is more supporting videos, diagrams etc…

What is in it for me… I get to take people out doing two of the things I love the most. Fishing and Boating!
