Dear Emilie,
Today’s adventure took us down to Warringah Mall for a bit of shopping. With you fed and bundled into the car – off we set. You safely strapped in to the baby capsule, Mum and I in the front, however this was not to last long…
3.5 minutes down the road – Mum could no longer stand being in the front seat and not being able to see you. She persevered for another full 15 seconds, before we were pulled over and Mum was moving from the front seat into the back with you. Don’t ever doubt how much your Mum loves you.
Back on the road again – with a much happier Mum – our next stop was the Mall.
And the reason for this adventure – nappy bags for you. Well, specifically for a really cool bin capable of locking away the nasty smells of your pooie nappies. Unlike normal backs (which I will explain to you at some stage) these are more like sausage skins (I will explain how sausages are made one day too… boy, there is a lot for you to learn. I think I will just assume you have figured a lot of this stuff out by the time you read this – otherwise it will end up being a re-write of the education system).
So – these sausage bags are really clever. You put a nappy in the bin, twist the handle a few times and you’re done. What you end up with is a string of sausage like nappies.
Anyway – back to the adventure, Mum picked up a few breast feeding tops and we stopped of for a coffee and some lunch. (you’ll learn what coffee is as well, probably about the time you hit uni and discover the joys of all-nighters)
Anyway beautiful – sweet dreams.
Love Dad
